About Design
“Designers should start by understanding the need, polishing it like a craftsman, and expecting it to be recognized as art someday. This order should not and cannot be adjusted.” Artists are pioneers, experimenting with the possibilities of how things can be expressed; designers, on the other hand, are keepers, focusing on the realization of goals and the most effective ways to communicate information and solve problems. The core of design is that in-depth thinking is far more important than technical implementation. Every good design comes from a long period of time, while research, fieldwork and personal experience are also indispensable.
About Education
Education is a fascinating field that explores not only how to teach and how to learn, but also how information is processed and transformed, and when and where learning takes place. Everyone absorbs and constructs knowledge in their own way, which makes education even more challenging. By reflecting on issues from different perspectives, we can discover more possibilities. Truly meaningful learning occurs through active interactions, and through observation, experience and practice, we can take learning beyond the classroom and make it a proactive attitude towards life.
About Research
“What is the value of this thing? This question used to make me feel resistant, as if my efforts were being denied. But then I realized that this statement is actually an opportunity to stop and reexamine whether what we are doing is really valuable enough. The purpose of research is not only to find answers, but also to discover the potential of things through observation, experimentation and reflection. Continuing to learn and understand the latest trends is an important way to realize the value of research, both in academia and in practice.
About Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
The essence of cross-disciplinary collaboration lies in integrating different professional perspectives and transforming differences into opportunities for innovation. This is not mere collaboration, but a deep mutual understanding and respect. In teamwork, the only way to design a solution that allows everyone to grow positively is to truly put yourself in the other person's shoes. How to communicate effectively with partners from different backgrounds, and how to work together to achieve results beyond one's ability are all challenges in design that cannot be ignored. The ultimate goal of design and collaboration is to create solutions to complex problems while enhancing the experience and value of those involved.
